school year and recognize the outstanding governance conducted by
our member districts. Join us as we bring together Board Members,
superintendents, business administrators, and families from across
the county to honor the dedication, milestones, and achievements
that elevate our local communities and support student

Honors: During this
special spring celebration, we will proudly feature and
honor:
Morris County Teacher of the
Year Recognition: A
special presentation honoring the 2026–2027 Morris County Teacher
of the Year, celebrating their classroom excellence and profound
impact on our community.
The 2027 Irene M. LeFebvre
Excellence in Boardsmanship Award: Honoring an outstanding local Board
Member for exceptional leadership, ethics, and dedicated service to
public education.
Class of 2027 Student Unsung
Hero Awards: Celebrating
those remarkable students who make a profound difference in their
school communities through their resilience, kindness, and hard
work.
8th Grade Morris County Sheriff
Awards: Recognizing
outstanding young leaders for their exceptional character, personal
integrity, and civic contributions.
Association Leadership
Elections: The official
election of the 2027–2029 Morris County Association Officers and
Executive Committee members to help steer our shared educational
mission over the next two years.
Academy Certifications:
Recognizing individual Board
Members who have earned personal certifications through the NJSBA
Board Member Academy this past year.
Board Member Milestones:
Honoring our dedicated,
long-serving Board Members celebrating major service milestones
(10, 15, 20+ years) on their local boards.
