Union County SBA Hybrid Meeting- CTOY, Certifications, & Milestones Celebrations

At this meeting, we will recognize members who have achieved milestones and certifications, as well as honor Karen Carey-Lynch , English Language Arts and Gifted Education Teacher at Roselle Park Middle School, as County Teacher of the Year .

Karen has dedicated over thirty years to education, joining Roselle Park in 2003. Certified in Gifted and Talented education, she teaches English language arts and gifted education, integrates STEAM and project-based learning, and recently rewrote the district’s gifted curriculum. She also advises the National Junior Honor Society and leads community service initiatives that strengthen school-community ties. Known for fostering care, respect, and meaningful connections with her students, Karen is an inspiring role model for both students and colleagues.
