In this webinar, Caitlin Pletcher from NJSBA’s Legal Department
will provide a brief overview of special education law, as well as
timely updates in this area. The webinar will highlight current
data regarding special education costs (and the legal basis for
these costs). For board members who want to understand more about
special education legal proceedings, this webinar will outline the
special education dispute process and recently issued directives
regarding settlement agreements. Finally, the webinar will also
address new laws that have special education components.
