Program Description:
Effective communication is essential to building trust and strengthening relationships between school districts and their communities. This program will explore the board’s role in supporting district communications, strategies for promoting positive district news and accomplishments, and the importance of proactive communication before issues become crises. Participants will also examine best practices for ensuring communications are accessible and inclusive, including multilingual outreach, ADA-compliant websites, and engagement strategies that meet the needs of diverse audiences and generations.
